Get your camera back in line after a new windscreen
Most modern vehicles have a forward-facing camera mounted behind the windscreen, near the rear-view mirror. This camera is the “eye” behind many of your car’s safety features, including Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), Traffic Light Recognition (TLR) and Automatic High Beam (AHB).
When a windscreen is replaced, the camera is removed and refitted. Even a tiny change in its angle can shift what it sees by several metres down the road. That means your car may misjudge lane markings, react late to hazards, or brake when it doesn’t need to. Our Windscreen Camera Calibration service uses professional calibration equipment to realign the camera to manufacturer specifications, so your safety systems work exactly as intended.
